Now that you have understood customers it is time to define how your product will look like. What you will build and how will you build.
Lets take an example of Lord of the Rings. The leadership had problem of destroying the ring, to do that they formed the team with a mission to destroy the ring. This was done with a vision of having a peaceful world once ring is destroyed.
Once the vision and mission were given the team set out on a journey with someone always guiding the mission.
This someone was the person with data, and the knowledge applied from this helped team achieve their goal at the end.
When you are building the product, you will create a mission and vision of the product. This will guide you and your team for the entire journey of product development. You will do everything with a hypothesis and then experiment to ensure you are on right path. If experimentation fails, you know you have to try other ways to get to your goals.
